WHO ARE WE?

We are a group of individuals who loves Snails, just as much as we love Cinema. So, why not join the two things we love?

We want to create our own art and films - free of the outdated Hollywood business model. We want to have the freedom to create the art that we want to create, and the art we believe our community wants to see. We also want to be able to help promote other Snails, and their cinema endeavors.

THE TECHNICAL SIDE

The Salty Snails NFTs are a collection of 5030 uniquely generated digital collectables and 30 unique-HAND-DRAWN digital collectables on the Ethereum blockchain. Your snail can be used as your all access pass, which grants you exclusive members-only benefits, and access to future members only events.

THE GENETIC MAKE UP

Each Snail you catch is unique and is generated from over 30 unique traits such as eyes, shells, accessories and more. Some snails will be rarer than others.

We love all Snails. However, there will be 30 celebrity snails released that were hand drawn by the creator. The first 15 will become available in a pre-sale market, where the remaining 15 will be randomly given out to members in our discord once the roadmap goal is achieved. These ones are the hardest to catch.

The Snails will be stored on the Ethereum Blockchain. Purchasing one of the 5030 Snails will be 0.07626674 ETH and the 30 celebrity snails will be 0.09980 ETH

The Snails will be stored as ERC 721 on the Etherum Blockchain and hosted on IPFS.

THE CINEMA CLUB

When purchasing a Salty Snail, you will gain access to the cinema club. The benefit of holding a membership increases over time. As more snails join the cinema club, more events will be hosted and unlocked.

THE SCREENING AND PITCH ROOM

The SSCC will not only host screenings of films that our creator creates, but also, we will have a community room where our members can come together to pitch their film ideas and help each other bring them to life. In here we can connect creative Snails with one another.

ROADMAP

The SSCC wants to make a community that will stand the test of time.
We have set up a list of goals that we hope to achieve with our members. Once a percentage is reached, we will activate a new goal.

THE CELEBRITY SNAIL MEMBERSHIP
A holder of the Celebrity snail memberships has additional rewards such as: (1) being a background character in our film; (2) a small speaking role in our films; (3) invitations to exclusive meet and greets with main actors in our films, and (4) future potential of possible financial investment in your own film.

  • All members at this point will receive a limited edition SSCC digital pin.

  • Physical Merch store opens up to members only.

  • The remaining 15 celebrity Snails will be randomly given out to.

  • The Salty Snail Cinema Club YouTube Page is opened. On this page, we will have a radio station that plays music that inspires the films we are creating. We will also host any short films, music videos, YouTube episodic stories, or anything else involving cinema that we can legally post on our page, which are created and approved by members within our community.

  • 50 Random members will receive a physical SSCC movie poster signed by the Snail’s Creator.

  • We will begin production on our first feature film that is fully funded by the sales of the memberships. Once the film is finished and released, members will get advanced screening privileges via online premier and or physical world premier (the option is up to you). Also, each member will have their name listed in the credits and on the films IMDb page as an executive producer. In addition to this, 10% of the overall sales will be donated to a charity of the creator’s choice.

OUR FUTURE CLUB OBJECTIVES

After achieving our goals in our roadmap - the future of the SSCC is to host independent short film festivals once a year, showing off the works of any of our members. This is to be a physical film festival held at a privileged location. Only members who hold one of the SSCC NFTs and their Plus one, will be allowed to enter.
We also hope to join the metaverse at some point and open our own meta-cinema-club.
